Create a 20 minute documentary research video including research information and approved audio, video, and other multimedia sources.

  Allows direct online conversion of Flash and YouTube files. Use .avi format for use in Windows Movie Maker.

Download video from YouTube

  1. Copy the address of the video from YouTube (Right click on it and click Copy)
  2. In KeepVid, paste the address and click the download button that lists .flv (m4p will work for an iPod, but it won’t work in Movie Maker). 
  3. Save the file in a folder on the server .flv at the end as an extension. 
  4. You will need the .flv player to open it, or you can ask Miss O to convert the file to use in Movie Maker.

  • Create a folder for all your information
  • Organize by using sub-folders for video, scripts, pictures, etc.
  • Keep a daily log of what you accomplish each class period.
  • Keep a Word document of all Internet research information, including the title of each web page and its web address for future reference.
  • All contacts and sources (web, interview, books, magazines, video, audio) need to be documented in the Works Cited section at the end of the video
